The key expertise of Starlight Broadcasting is TV programming; producing and production management; purchase and sale of intellectual property rights; marketing; research and analytics. The division is engaged in the development of ideas and scripts, the formation of a broadcast programme, the marketing of products of the TV channels ICTV, STB, the New Channel, ICTV2, OCE TV, and the purchase and supply of formats and content.
The focus of the division is the project leadership and the development of TV channels.
As for its organizational structure, Starlight Broadcasting unites the TV channels STB, the New Channel, ICTV, OCE, and ICTV Ukraine. The division also includes the Content Monetization Department and the Marketing Department. The Monetization Department sells content rights and purchases the necessary formats and products for TV channels. The Marketing Department consists of the brand teams of TV channels (ICTV, STB, the New Channel), trailer house, marketing communications and marketing teams, PR and digital, promo, audio production, and a professional design bureau.
The brand marketing team is particularly engaged in brand development and communication, and brand development in social networks. The design bureau is one of the largest motion design bureaus in Ukraine. It deals with the visual identity of channel brands and products, provides off-air brand displays related to the visuals, and creates graphics for projects, including scenography for big shows and so on.
The marketing and design team of Starlight Media topped the rating of the Best Marketing team at the Effie Awards Ukraine 2020. Its marketing campaigns for ICTV, STB and the New Channel were awarded the national (10 wins in Ukrainian Design) and international marketing awards PromaxBDA Awards Europe (gold), Eyes & Ears Europe (bronze). Among the outstanding projects are the promotional campaigns for the series “Cossacks” (ICTV), “To Catch the Kaidash” (STB), “Trace” (STB), “First Swallows: Addicted” (the New Channel), the show “The Bachelor” (STB), “Ukraine’s Next Top Model” (the New Channel), the first web series in Ukraine – FAKE (the New Channel), redesigns of the STB channel and the show “Morning in the Big City” (ICTV).
